We may process data where required by law, including accounting, tax, consumer, platform, data protection or legal compliance obligations.

We may process data where necessary for legitimate interests, provided your rights and freedoms do not override those interests.

6.6 Legal claims
Where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, Trusted Help Spain may process personal data on the basis of an applicable legal obligation or legitimate interest. Where special category data is involved, an applicable condition under Article 9 GDPR must also apply.
6.7 Required information
Some personal data is required to create or manage an account, process a Seeker Request Fee or Helper Membership, handle a Helper application or verification process, or provide another requested platform service. Where information is required, failure to provide it may mean that Trusted Help Spain cannot provide the relevant account, application, verification, payment or platform service. Optional information will be identified as such where appropriate.
7. Helper verification and privacy
Helper verification is one of the most sensitive parts of the platform.
Trusted Help Spain may request verification information to help reduce risk and create clearer trust signals before a helper profile becomes visible. The information requested may depend on whether the helper operates as an individual, autónomo or business and on the practical-help or Specialist Business Services categories offered.
Verification may include:

Video intake

Online profile review
Business or trading information check, where relevant

Internal approval checklist
Trusted Help Spain follows the principle of data minimisation. Identity is normally verified by visually checking the identity document during the verification process and recording the result of the check. Trusted Help Spain does not normally retain a copy or photograph of the identity document or record the document number.
Where business, registration, licence, authorisation, insurance or sector-specific documents are reviewed, Trusted Help Spain aims to record only the information or verification result necessary for the relevant category. Copies will only be retained where necessary, proportionate and legally justified.
Reference details, identity documents, business-verification documents, licence or insurance documents, sector-specific supporting documents and internal verification notes are not shown publicly. Helper profiles may show completed verification checks and the helper’s current platform status. Selected business or trading information may be displayed where it forms part of the approved profile.
Verification helps reduce risk, but it is not an absolute guarantee of future behaviour, quality, safety or availability.

Approved Helper Profiles may be visible to registered Seekers. Trusted Help Spain may also display limited, privacy-safe previews of Helper Profiles publicly.
Depending on the access level, visible Helper Profile information may include:

Trusted Help Spain may edit, reject or remove profile content that violates platform rules, privacy rules or safety standards.
9. Private seeker accounts
Seeker accounts are private and are not published as a public directory.
Seeker information may be processed for account management, platform access, support, safety, communication and the operation of request features.
When a Seeker sends a paid direct request, the information needed to handle that request may be shared with the specific Helper selected by the Seeker.
When a Seeker publishes a Help Request, relevant request information may be made available to approved Helpers so they can decide whether they want to respond. The Seeker’s private account is not displayed as a public profile.
